The Urban Beehive

The proposal is located in the Nomadic Community Garden based in Shoreditch, London. The garden is the size of two football pitches filled with gardening plots. The project expands on this urban garden and introduces a beehive hub to the site.

Part of the existing community

Due to the strong community formed in the nomadic community garden, it was crucial for the proposal to be woven into space as a part of the community. Therefore, the communal dinner protrudes out from the green room, ensuring visibility between the two areas is not obstructed.
